The upcoming China International Import Expo or CIIE 2018 is a distinguished global gathering for showcasing imported goods and will be hosted in Shanghai from 5th to 10th November this year.

The event, with full state support, aims to introduce advanced foreign technologies and products to China, with a focus on high-tech production equipment and strategically important industries. The goal is to increase domestic production efficiency while providing high-quality consumer goods, smart home solutions, and environmentally conscious choices for healthy and sensible nutrition that meet the constantly growing demands of modern consumers and market conditions.

It is anticipated that approximately 150,000 domestic and foreign qualified institutional buyers and enterprises from over 100 countries and regions across the globe will participate in the inaugural CIIE exhibition. The event will also feature supplementary activities, including meetings, seminars, case studies, and press releases.
